Humanitarian Speakers: Empowering Others to Make a Change

Humanitarians, social entrepreneurs, activists, advocates — call them what you want, but these people sure are making a change in the world. Primarily concerned with the welfare of others, humanitarians work toward resolving prevalent issues they see in the world and helping those around them.

A humanitarian speaker can add the perfect touch to any event, encouraging your audience to not only make a change in their lives, but also in the lives of others. A humanitarian speaker can even be a refreshing addition to a corporate event. Our speakers specialize in a wide range of topics, including entrepreneurship, goal setting and overcoming adversity, to name a few.

The following women are two of our top humanitarian speakers. They each speak on different topics, share their own experiences and are sure to leave a lasting impact on your audience through their insightful keynotes.

Mallory Brown

Mallory Brown is a world traveler most known for her crowdfunding and philanthropic campaigns to help those in need. In 2014, she started her own charitable clothing company called “World Clothes Line,” in which her mission was to “clothe the world.” For every piece she sold, she donated a new clothing item to someone in need.

For her 30th birthday, she raised over $41K for Ethiopian women to start their own businesses. Currently, she is traveling the world as part of her “Walk a Mile” initiative in which she walks a mile with women living in poverty. She plans on walking 26 miles in total while bringing awareness to extreme poverty among women in third world countries.

Takeaways from Mallory’s keynote:

  • A new perspective on how you or your business can approach philanthropy.
  • How you can add passion to your workplace and transform your passion into a career.
  • How your corporation can make a significant impact on the world.
  • Advice on starting a new business.

Stephanie Decker

Stephanie Decker is an inspiring double amputee and an advocate for the amputee community. Since losing both of her legs in the tornado that hit Henryville, Indiana, she has been a strong advocate for the amputee community. She started the Stephanie Decker foundation, which mainly serves to support children and those who cannot afford high-tech prosthetics. Her foundation hosts a “No Limbitations” sports camp specifically for children with prosthetics.

Stephanie is a motivational speaker who helps attendees realize that anything is possible. She uses her keynote to encourage attendees to overcome any challenges they are facing.
