Renée Marino's Story

Renée Marino is an international keynote speaker, communication and connection expert, Broadway and film performer, host, and best-selling author of Becoming a Master Communicator. Best known for her role as Mary Delgado in Clint Eastwood’s Jersey Boys film and for performing in five Broadway musicals including Jersey Boys, Pretty Woman, West Side Story, and Chaplin, Renée has spent more than two decades mastering the art of authentic communication on some of the world’s biggest stages.

Today, Renée brings those same communication and connection principles to organizations, leaders, and teams navigating a world increasingly shaped by distraction, digital overload, and surface-level interaction. Through her signature C.O.N.N.E.C.T. Method, she teaches audiences how to communicate with greater presence, confidence, clarity, and authenticity so they can build stronger relationships, deepen trust, and create meaningful opportunities in both work and life.

Growing up in a close-knit Italian-American family in New Jersey, Renée’s earliest understanding of connection came from conversations around the kitchen table — a foundation that would later shape both her career and her mission. She often says that while talent opened doors, it was genuine human connection that ultimately changed the trajectory of her life and career.

Renée has shared the stage with leaders and personalities including Tony Robbins, Dean Graziosi, Mark Cuban, Magic Johnson, David Goggins, Martha Stewart, and Alex Rodriguez, and served as co-host of Tony Robbins and Dean Graziosi’s World Summit. Her work has been featured in SUCCESS Magazine, Variety, Yahoo Finance, People.com, The Huffington Post, and PBS.

Known for her warmth, energy, humor, and deeply interactive style, Renée helps audiences reconnect with one of the most important skills in leadership and life: the ability to genuinely connect with another human being.

Because at the end of the day, people may hear your words. But they connect to your presence.

The Confidence Edge

How Taking Imperfect Action Makes You Unstoppable

Too many people spend years waiting to feel fully confident before they use their voice, take the leap, ask for the opportunity, or show up more boldly in their lives and careers. But true confidence rarely comes from having everything figured out. It grows when we become more connected to ourselves — trusting our voice, owning our story, and taking action before everything feels certain.

In this empowering and deeply relatable keynote, Broadway and film performer Renée Marino challenges the belief that perfection is the prerequisite for success, confidence, or visibility. Through honest storytelling, humor, audience interaction, and practical tools, she helps audiences move beyond self-doubt, overthinking, and fear of judgment so they can communicate more authentically, trust themselves more deeply, and create stronger connections in both their personal and professional lives.

Drawing from her journey navigating Broadway auditions, high-pressure performance environments, and moments of uncertainty, Renée shares how some of the most meaningful opportunities in life come from being willing to embrace discomfort, speak up before you feel fully ready, and show up authentically in the moments that matter most. Audiences leave with practical strategies to strengthen self-trust, quiet perfectionism, and take more aligned action with greater clarity, courage, and connection.
