Todd Dewett Releases Revised Edition of “The Little Black Book of Leadership”

Sheldon Senek•November 7, 2018

Ever since he’s left the classroom as an educator, Dr. Todd Dewett has not given up on teaching others what he has learned on his journey as a leader. As expert in leadership and management for many years, Todd has accumulated a set of leadership tips and techniques that he swears by. Today, Todd shares his tried, true, and proven tips with his audiences in hopes that they too will reap the benefits that come with being more open and authentic.

Originally published in 2010, Dr. Todd Dewett wrote “The Little Black Book of Leadership” as a gift to his students when he was a professor at Wright State University. Eight years later, he’s returned with a new and revised version of the book in which he provides essential leadership advice for new managers.

As a professor, Todd said, one reason he wrote this book was to help his students who were already paying high prices for other textbooks. He thought his small and affordable book of leadership tips would benefit college students in a multitude of ways. In the book, he touches on topics like team dynamics, conflict, and other issues that can make or break you as a leader. His book proves to be helpful to students who may be new to a leadership position or who simply want to improve their leadership skills for the future.

The revised edition of “The Little Black Book of Leadership” includes new tricks and tips, as well as sections from the previous version of the book, for managers at any level to take advantage of. In the book, Todd promises to provide readers with “advice on how to survive and thrive as a leader,” specifically as a new leader.
