Mallory Brown (AKA TravelMal), a social entrepreneur, who is known for her 24 hour flash fundraisers for various social causes (helping homeless in Detroit, refuges in Greece, earthquake victims in Nepal, and many others) is currently working on her new initiative titled, Walk A Mile. This is a global marathon for women’s empowerment where she will walk a marathon, one mile at a time with 26 different impoverished working women around the world.
In this documentary series, she will be capturing stories from these women who are fighting for a better life. Mallory will be traveling from Guatemala to Kenya in order to help stand for economic advancement of women. Every mile that she walks with each woman will be an opportunity for viewers to get involved, give back and support these working women worldwide.
