In March 2012, Stephanie Decker had to make a life changing decision. As a tornado whipped through Henryville, Indiana, Decker’s home began to cave-in around her. The 37-year-old mother of three used her own body to shield two of her young children and both of her legs were crushed in the process. Because of Stephanie’s heroic actions, both children were unscathed, but unfortunately, she did have to have both legs amputated. Today, Stephanie speaks to large audiences about the challenges she faces and how she overcomes them. Since the accident, she has started the Stephanie Decker Foundation, which supports two major areas; children with prosthetics and accessibility to cutting-edge prosthetic products.
From October 22-25, Stephanie was in Nashville for the EXIT Realty’s 2019 International Convention, where she was a featured keynote speaker.
